Cornish Mirrors and Clocks - Inspired by the Cornish Coast

The inspiration for all my pieces comes from the amazing coastal environment in which I live.

I collect artefacts washed in by storm tides to create my pieces. I have labelled each piece with the beach it was found on and the date. Each piece is hand crafted and unique. I use a variety of techniques such as mosaic, collage and paint.

Wherever we are on the coast, the whole family is involved with the collection of driftwood, sea glass and broken pieces of china. I also make use of unwanted and broken items and recycle them such as old china, broken tiles and unwanted wood.
