How much does it cost?

This is the most difficult question to answer as it depends entirely on your web site requirements, whether you want to host you site with us etc.

As a rough guide, a five page site with five custom-made graphics will cost around £200.

A price will be agreed before any work commences and this quote will stand until the work is delivered.

Where are you based?

The internet is worldwide so we could build and host your website wherever you are located.

ICUS.co.uk are based in Buckinghamshire and West Sussex UK.

What is hosting?

Hosting is where we physically hold your web pages, images and applications on our secure web server. See our hosting page for more details.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is the name you type into a browser (eg. www.icus.co.uk).

You can use any letter from the English alphabet in a domain name including numbers, dot (.) and dash(-). Domain names must be less than 63 characters in length. No spaces or other characters are allowed. You can use the name of your company, product or business, or any name you want.

.com domain names tend to be international or American companies.
.net domain names tend to be internet service providers.
.org domain names are organisations or charities.
.co.uk domain names are for British companies.

It is prudent to register your name as soon as possible as there are a finite number of domain names. Most common words have already been taken.

What can I put on my website?

You can put anything you want on your website with the following exceptions:

• MP3 music
• Adult or explicit material
• Hacks or Cracks to applications

ANY SUCH MATERIAL WILL RESULT IN REMOVAL OF THE WEB SITE IMMEDIATELY
- WITH NO REFUND OF FEES.

Can I update my website?

Yes, we can set you up with FTP access so you can change your website when required.

If you do not want to update your website, we can do the updates for you.
