Gareth Bale has been reported to want to stay and fight for his place with the current European champions. The 29-year-old has three years still to honour on his contract and with over 100 goals scored for Madrid since his 2013 transfer it is a shock that he remains unpopular with the Madrid support. It would seem unfair that Bale should be made a victim for Real Madrid’s poor campaign. Injuries have always hampered him but despite this he is Real’s second top scorer with 14 goals.
It is thought that Zidane is not much of an admirer of Bale and according to the Daily Mail it is understood that they have a strained relationship.
In recent years Gareth has been linked with a possible move to Manchester United and it is widely regarded that with the Red Devils having a summer clear out it may possibly pave the way for a return to the United Kingdom for the magnificent Welshman.
It is thought that the Spanish Giants are after Eden Hazard and a £100 million plus addition to the Galacticos could pave the way for a potential move for Gareth.
