England manager Phil Neville said his squad are ready to “do the business” after arriving in France for the Women’s World Cup according to Sky Sports.
The Lionesses touched down in Nice and will play two of their three Group D matches, including Sunday fixture against fellow Brits Scotland.
After losing their final warm up game against New Zealand the players cannot afford to become complacent but are still one of the favourites in the 24-team tournament.
England manager Neville said;
“We wanted to get out here as quick as possible, “Beautiful weather, great location and ready to do the business.”
The England Lionesses are expected to put on a good show in France and after their semi final defeat of four years ago aim to go better this time round.
With more and more female players growing in stature they should bask in the publicity the tournament will bring but true glory will come only after a successful competition.
