After 32 games in charge –Talk Sport have identified how well Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done at Manchester United?
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side slumped to a shock 2-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, in what was his 32nd game in charge. The Red Devils continue to have a mixed start to the season, following a great first game hammering over Chelsea on the opening weekend.
It has been a tenure full of ups/downs within the managerial chair for Solskjaer back at his beloved Reds, after a thoroughly impressive spell in interim spell.
The Norwegian got off to a great start by breaking records. He was the first Manchester United boss to win his first six games in charge and surpassed the record set by legendary manager Sir Matt Busby.
According to Talk Sport Solskjaer, 46, also collected the most points of any top flight manager in his first 10 games in charge – 26 – surpassing the previous record set by former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink.
Solskjaer, surpassed his former manager and mentor Sir Alex Ferguson.
As it currently the 46-year-old won 17, drawn five and lost 10 of the competitive games he’s taken charge of – giving him a win percentage of 53.1 per cent.
