Liverpool and Celtic legend Kenny Dalglish has been discharged from hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
Over the weekend, reports confirmed that Dalglish had been hospitalised for treatment.
Sky News reported:
The 69-year-old was admitted on Wednesday for “treatment of an infection which required intravenous antibiotics”.
He subsequently tested positive for coronavirus but “remains asymptomatic”.
Happily, Kenny has been allowed to continue his recovery at home.

Kenny Dalglish has taken the opportunity to shower praise on the NHS. Writing in the paper, the former Liverpool and Celtic manager explained:
They (the hospital staff) were absolutely brilliant.
As a nation, we are all very fortunate to have them and I wish them all well as they work tirelessly to help the country through this pandemic.
People may think my name got me the best of care but every patient in the National Health Service gets the best of care.
