Kevin De Bruyne is well on his way to Premier League Legend status but he is also on the cusp of making Premier League history.
The Belgian could do this by equalling two records owned by the Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.

Henry is the only player in the history of the Premier League to provide an assist for a goal in five consecutive games and theBelgian could equal this record at the weekendweekend when his side take on Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday evening.
This weekend De Bruyne has a record belonging to the iconic Frenchman in his sights when he takes to the field in East Anglia.
De Bruyne though isn’t stopping there and the Belgian could also break the record for the number of assists five games into a season. Henry is currently top of that chart with seven which means De Bruyne will need to provide a passing hat-trick to topple that record.
I am not sure if playmakers such as De Bruyne care about such records but if he does pull it off it is another definitive account of his ability and general standing in the game.
Manchester City will do well to keep De Bruyne for his whole career and I am surprised Real Madrid or Barcelona have not come in for him already.
There is a buzz around Manchester with Kevin in the team and if he does not get European Success soon he may be tempted to go.
