The Harry Maguire transfer saga rumbles on and the £80 million defender may be shelved by Premier League winners Man City.
City travel to Asia next week on their pre season tour and as they ramp up their preparation they may choose to give youth a chance.
According to The MEN, one of the players they are considering is their youth player Eric Garcia. The Spaniard has progressed through the youth set up and is looking at breaking his way into the plans of Pep Guardiola for next season’s Premier League.
Garcia was highly thought of at Barcelona as he came through the youth set up and was part of the Catalan club’s academy for nine years before moving to City.
The player has the potential to be one of the best in the world and if he can keep building on his talent his development will be nurtured by Guardiola.
It was only last year that he was taken to the USA on the clubs pre season tour and he played against the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Lyon, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
Manchester City have already got an abundance of talent and it would be great to see a new, hungry, young addition take the place of Vincent Kompany in next years squad.
