After a trophy-less season Real Madrid have already bought Eden Hazard for a fee that could exceed £150m and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jovic for £58m. Now they are targeting Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Pogba has had an up and own at United in his second spell but winning the World Cup lat summer has enhanced his reputation and United are likely to make a profit on the huge £89m outlay which brought Pogba back to Old Trafford from Italy in 2016.

According to the Mirror, That would make Bale – already out of favour with his manager – surplus to requirements but an attractive option to sweeten the pot for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the Old Trafford board.
The saved Pogba wages could go on Real’s Bale instead. Bale has three seasons left on his £600k per week deal at Real. It is hard to fathom Bale’s fall from grace after his jaw-dropping bicycle kick in the Champions League final in 2018. With Tony Martial for from consistent and the injury prone and expensive Alexis Sanchez proving ineffective, the United faithful are ready for another hero and the explosive Bale could be that man.
