Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is busy trying to prepare his squad for their Monday night feature against Wolves.
Wolves outplayed The Red Devils last year, beating them twice in a matter of weeks, scuppering both their FA Cup and top four hopes.
Solskjaer, has warned his players they will need to be at their best if they are to avoid a similar fate when they come up against Nuno Espirito Santo’s team again.
Two members of his squad that could be played are Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian. The pair have been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with both getting interest from other European clubs.
The Manchester Evening News reported that the players are still involved in the Norweigan’s team training session possibly leading to an opportunity to impress next week.
As well as Rojo and Darmian; youngsters Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong have been regular parts of the training party, with both expected to be involved in the senior squad sooner rather than later (BirminghamMail).
I suspect the players are involved as it shows teams in Europe that they are fit and ready to be sold. With the European transfer market still open it is an opportunity to release these players from the payroll.
