The Central Connecticut women’s won the season opener in dominant fashion on Tuesday. The Blue Devils had four different goal scorers in a 4-0 shutout over St. Francis Brooklyn. Kelly Brady and Roma McLaughlin each posted a goal and an assist in the afternoon. Freshman Kristina Kelly scored the first goal of the season for CCSU. Senior Jenna Rae Covello also added a goal.

The Blue Devils wasted no time in the season opener, receiving a goal from Kristina Kelly just 4:54 into the game. It marked the first goal of Kelly’s young career.
