Wilfried Zaha has hit out at the “sad and annoying” speculation surrounding him at present, with a big-money transfer to Arsenal continuing to be mooted (goal.com).

The Crystal Palace forward continues to be courted by a number of top clubs and it is Arsenal that have made a formal offer.

Palace, are frustrated at the interest of Zaha and feel that the Premier League man is unsettled by there pursuit of him. Any interest in Zaha though is only natural as he has been their standout attacking player for the last three years now.

Zaha remains Arsenals top target and it is expected that the North Londoners will increase their bid to capture the signature of their target.

It would seem that Zaha is concerned about all the focus on his career and he is worried that the attention it is bringing him will destabilise his focus on the African Cup of Nations.

Speaking on twitter he has messaged,

“Whatever happened to speaking facts? “It’s sad and annoying how anyone will just open their mouth and speak on things or situations they know absolutely nothing about.”

It would seem though that Zaha’s brother (Judicael) is doing the talking for the player and has already stated on Sky Sports that it would be a dream for Wilfried to join the club he supported as a boy.
